If you’ve found your way here, there’s a good chance you’re tired.
Tired of pain that hasn’t gone away. Tired of feeling stuck in your body. Tired of being told that everything is “fine” when it clearly doesn’t feel that way.

Before any assessment or treatment plan, the first thing I want you to know is this: you and your body are not broken.

Very often, pain, tension, fatigue, overwhelm, and persistent symptoms are signs of a nervous system that has been under stress for too long — doing its best to protect, adapt, and cope. My work is about helping people better understand those patterns and gently support the body toward better movement, functional stability, regulation, resilience, and a greater sense of safety and ease again.

I’m Leia Graham — a holistic physiotherapist, yoga teacher, nervous system-focused practitioner, and mother of two teenage girls. Originally from Brazil and now based in Sherwood, Brisbane, I’ve spent close to 25 years working with people experiencing pain, injury, stress, movement dysfunction, chronic pain, and persistent symptoms.

Physiotherapy and functional movement are the foundation of my clinical work. Over the years, however, my approach has expanded beyond simply treating the spine, muscles, and joints in isolation. I’ve come to see the body as an interconnected system shaped by movement, breathing, stress physiology, sleep, emotions, life experiences, and nervous system states.

So that is how I work with it.

My approach integrates evidence-informed physiotherapy with chronic pain and pain neuroscience education, Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilisation (DNS), movement retraining, nervous system regulation, Polyvagal-informed and vagus nerve-based approaches, breathwork, yoga and mindfulness practices, somatic and body-awareness therapies, Neurofeedback, and — for those who feel aligned with it — broader integrative and complementary approaches including Pranic Healing.

At the heart of it all is the therapeutic relationship — creating a space where people feel heard, supported, safe, and empowered in their recovery.

My goal is not simply to “fix” symptoms, but to help people reconnect with confidence in their bodies, better understand their nervous system, and develop practical tools that support not only physical recovery, but also long-term mental, emotional, and overall wellbeing.

I want you to leave sessions feeling more informed, more connected, more capable, and more at ease with your body and within yourself.

Because healing is not something that only happens inside a clinic.

It’s something that gradually becomes part of how you live, move, breathe, and relate to yourself every day.

I’m also an eternal student of the human body, of neuroscience, healing, and spirituality — and that curiosity continues to shape both my work and my own personal life. I deeply believe that supporting others through chronic pain, stress, nervous system dysregulation, and emotional overwhelm also requires ongoing self-awareness and personal inner work from the practitioner themselves.

If you’re unsure whether this approach is the right fit for you, please feel free to reach out. I’m always happy to have a conversation first before someone books into a session that may not feel aligned for them.
